In parallel with the Symbian smartphone Satio, Sony Ericsson has unveiled another mobile phone, Aino, which also comes with the touch screen capability. Aino is available in the form of a slider bar keypad and a Bluetooth stereo headset is also included in the package.To be able to take pictures at any time, the Sony Ericsson Aino is equipped with a digital camera that shoots photos at a resolution of 8.1 megapixels. In addition, the camera has a 16x digital zoom and a photo light at the side.
The touch screen is in a 3 inch format with a maximum resolution of 240 x 432 pixels and can display up to 16.8 million colors. The Aino is maintained in a dimension of 104 x 50 x 15.5 millimeters and has a weight of 134 grams.
The capacity of the internal memory is 55 megabytes and an expandable memory via the microSD slot - 8G MMC comes with the package.
The phone is expected to be available in the country by the last quarter of 2009 which is available in Obsidian Black and Luminous White colors. The price however is still not definite in the local market.
