Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 Runs On Windows Mobile 6.5

Xperia X2 is the first smartphone from Sony Ericsson with Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system and successor to the highly acclaimed Xperia. The X2 is supposed to have increased especially in speed and ease of use.

Compared to its predecessor, it can be with the Xperia X2 to work faster, according to the manufacturer about 40 percent. The control can be transferred via the touch-sensitive 3.2-inch screen, using the vertically-keyboard or via the extra buttons on the front panel.

The camera of the new smartphone has a resolution of 8.1 megapixels. By comparison, the previous model Xperia X1 only had a 3.2-megapixel camera. Photos and videos can be using an adapter on the TV output of the X2 output to a TV. In the high-resolution WVGA screen shows the Xperia X2 video in DVD quality. For quick access to key features is the X2 with the SlideView mechanism equipped: By wiping fingers glide the user through contacts, messages, and media applications.

The rest of the equipment is in accordance with a GPS receiver, WiFi, Bluetooth, Geotagging and UMTS standard, including HSDPA support to the smartphone.
